Attack of the Moths

Shirt-A&F (similar Guess Plaid Shirt), Shorts-Target (similar Forever 21 Lace Shorts), Necklace-Eliza Jay Charm (similar Acrylic Monogram Necklace), Converse Chuck Taylor Sneakers, Bag-H&M (similar Forever 21 Satchel)

This past week I noticed that there was a moth flying around every night. I didn't think much of it, until I poured a bowl of Cheerios on Sunday for breakfast and discovered a moth in there. Yuck. Not my idea of Sunday Funday! I realized I must have pantry moths. I kinda hoped having dogs would keep away bugs, but I guess that only applies to other creatures (Oliver's beagle side means he's a hunting dog).

Thankfully there's not millions in there, but I had to throw out almost everything in there and clean the shelves. Whomp whomp. After getting new food at the grocery store, everything is now in airtight containers and/or ziploc baggies. I'm storing the cereal outside of the pantry just in case. If anyone has any tips for me, please let me know!

  3. I have the same problem in Summer with ants. Like you, now I put all food in sealed containers.

This is a cute outfit. The necklace adds a lot.

  6. Ewww! This reminds me when I was a teenager and there was a moth chasing us at my friends house at night. We hid under the covers of her bed and died laughing/screaming while trying to hide from it

  7. Ugh, that is no good! I'm sorry you had to throw everything out! I laughed about the dog not helping with moths though - did you know that cats don't keep mice away either? Don't ask me how I know that :)

  19. Oh no! You know what though - it's better than having roaches. We had a few in Florida. I called the exterminator immediately. I don't know if they could give some advice or a consultation?? That would have freaked me out flying out of the cereal box. On to the outfit - I love the hair and cute plaid.

  27. Urgh, that sucks and expensive - throwing out food. On the other hand, truly digging that plaid shirt.

  28. Ick, bugs are the worst-- we had roaches in our apartment. I would open a drawer or pull something out of the pantry and a roach would be looking back at me, so gross. Maybe try moth balls? Or call a pest control/exterminator and see if they have any good tips. Good luck! (Cute outfit BTW!!)
