Look What I Got: Polka Dots & Stripes

Sweater-LMae Boutique (similar I.N. San Francisco Polka Dot Sweater), Monogram Necklace-Eliza Jay Charm, Skirt-Forever 21 (similar Forever 21 Striped Skirt for $8.80), Boots-Naturalizer (similar Cole Haan Astoria Boots), Bag-H&M

I haven't been able to wear skirts much this winter. So if there's a day that it's "warm" out (meaning it's 40 degrees), I jump at the chance to wear a skirt. I picked this striped skirt up ages ago at Forever 21 for less than 10 bucks. It's one of those pieces that holds up in my wardrobe, season after season. Ever since I got this polka dot sweater, I was dying to pair it with my striped skirt. The two were a match made in fashion heaven, just like Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir.

  19. Adorable combo! My threshold for skirts this year has dropped to about 25 degrees. I may be cold but I am so tired of pants every day!

  32. You can never go wrong mixing stripes with polka dots, especially if they are black+white. Simple, chic, polished. My pleasure linking up with you & Tara, as always. =)

  33. I know - I wore pants in every outfit post this week because I just couldn't convince myself to bear the cold and wear a skirt or dress. Looking forward to warmer temps this weekend!

I love the stripe and polka mix, and your monogram necklace is so pretty!
