What to Wear to an Office Holiday Party

Joe's Jeans Plaid Shirt//JCPenney Nanette Lepore Faux Leather Skirt//Apt. 9 Crystal Bib Statement Necklace//The Limited Leopard Clutch//Crown Vintage Booties

Now that it's December, you probably have lots of holiday parties coming up. First up, the office holiday party. For this occasion, you want to look festive while still looking professional (aka keep it covered up!). Think a fun twist on your every day work look. I chose a plaid button down shirt and a faux leather skater skirt with booties. For some bling, add the rhinestone statement necklace. I'd wear a pair of tights under the skirt to keep it appropriate.

My office isn't having a holiday party this year, but I'll be going to my husband's work party in a few weeks. I'm kinda grateful my office isn't having one...they can get awkward quick! Co-workers plus alcohol makes for an interesting combination, haha. Just remember it's never a good idea to get drunk in front of the boss!

What will you be wearing to your office holiday party?

  9. I love the pairing! My husband's work usually has a fun holiday outing too, but not until after the holidays so it might be my first post-baby outing, I suppose I'll wear something that looks nice and still fits!

  36. Your outfit is perfect for a company party to celebrate the holidays. My office party is next week, and I'm not exactly looking forward to it. I guess it's just one of those things you do though.

I may just need a fun outfit to make myself more excited :)

  37. This is awesome! I actually have every single one of these things (except the leopard print bag...which is funny because I've been wanting one for a while). They're not the exact same items, but looks pretty darn similar!

Really cute outfit. You did a fab job styling it!
