Today my bargain item isn't clothes or accessories, but my other love, makeup! I had been eyeing the Naked 2 palette for awhile, but I didn't really want to shell out $50 on eyeshadows. Sure they are sparkly and gorgeous but it's still 50 bucks. Recently I won a bunch of Sephora gift cards and I racked up enough to finally buy the palette. All I paid for it was the $3.50 tax! And I got free shipping!
Now that I bought the palette, I actually received more Sephora gift cards...I'm thinking about getting a new bronzer. Recommend your bronzer in the comments!

1. Yesterday morning I woke up to a dusting of snow and ice on the windshield of my car. I can't ever remember it snowing this late in March and being this cold. Where is spring??
2. I think I'm still stuffed from the Passover seder on Monday night. We had matzoh ball soup, salad, pot roast, turkey, and a million side dishes. Oh and there was gefilte fish too but I don't eat fish, let alone fish out of a jar!
3. My hubby has taken on some side work in addition to his job which means he'll be coming home a lot later than normal. This means I can watch all my TV shows that he hates, like the Real Housewives of Atlanta/Bev Hills, Millionaire Matchmaker, Teen Mom 2 etc.

Tonight is the first night of the Jewish holiday Passover. For those that don't know, during this holiday you can only eat unleavened bread. Things like bread, pasta, cereal are banned. You think this would be easy, but you wouldn't believe how many foods contain wheat/yeast products. Plus carbs are basically my best friends so this holiday is not one of my favs! On the bright side, I'll be going to my parents' house tonight for the Passover seder. But I just might be going home hungry!
I'm not sure what I did, but my neck is killing me. I can't really turn it too far to the left or right. I realized that's kind of a big problem when you're trying to drive. Driving on a straight highway, totally fine. Making a right or left turn, not so much. It's times like these that I really wish I had a high tech car with that backup camera. Or a chauffeur like all the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. (why do they even have cars if they're gonna go everywhere in a limo?!). A girl can dream.
Mint Skinny Jeans: Originally $22.99, they were on sale for $18. But since I bought them with a gift card, I got them for freeeee! PS Enter the $50 PayPal Cash Giveaway!
Three years ago yesterday was the day we got engaged. I think it's funny to watch these over-the-top proposals on The Bachelor where they're in a beautiful foreign county, the girl is in a designer evening gown, and they ride off on an elephant. Puh-lease. My proposal happened after we ordered in burritos for dinner and instead of a tropical locale, we were in his (now our)apartment. But that made it even more special to me.
Our own version of riding off into the sunset! Way cooler than an elephant, I think.
I decided to do something different this month for the March Group Giveaway. It seems everyone is upping the ante on giveaways lately (I am just waiting for someone to give away a car!). So, I had my amazing sponsors team up to bring you ONE big prize of $50 PayPal Cash!
I'd bet money that no one else's Friday night was quite like mine. First, we started hearing sirens. Then I noticed that it smelled like something was burning (I was hoping it wasn't something in my apartment). More sirens were going off and they were getting louder and louder. I opened the door and there was so much smoke that you could barely see across the street. Then I saw all the fire trucks, ambulances, and police...there was a 4 alarm fire literally right down the street from us! Apparently a bungalow (which no one was living in) somehow caught fire, which then spread to a garage, and then to a house next to it. Luckily they were able to put it out pretty quickly and they got everyone out of the houses safely. Craaaazy.
Linking up with Still Being Molly & Sami's Shenanigans I know you guys love Target as much as I do, so go enter to win a $40 Target gift card!
