Friday we got hit by snowstorm Nemo (since when are they naming snow storms? I think it's weird). They were forecasting anything from 4 inches of snow to a foot, so I wasn't really sure what we'd end up with. I woke up Saturday morning to 6 inches of snow. We were pretty lucky considering my cousins out on Long Island got around 30 inches!

I'm keeping it real today, guys. It's hard to look cute with snow/ice on the ground and cold temps. This is pretty much what I wore all weekend (plus a parka). We ate lots of grilled cheese and tomato soup (quintessential snow day lunch) and baked chocolate chip cookies. Saturday afternoon I started getting cabin fever though, so we went to my happy place...Target!

  61. Hi Sharon! It really is a challenge to look cute with Nemo--not to mention the challenge of not slipping even with a snow boots on. Why does it have to rain after the snow and make everywhere like The Pond in Bryant Park? But I should say, you look lovely!

  65. Haha, I liked the last storm's name but Nemo? that just doesn't sound frighting or serious, more something some little snow flurries would be called. (Not the gigantic storm that it ended up being, I can't believe how much snow you all got hit with! How's your power doing?) You do look adorable for the storm though, nice and warm!
