1. I just found out the bar that runs Yappy Hour is having a special Halloween celebration in a few weeks. So I have to get cracking on Oliver and Jinx's costumes. They're having a costume contest and I want my doggies to look awesome. I thought these bacon and eggs ones were really cute:


If anyone has any suggestions for costumes I can make myself, please let me know!

2. I want a pair of Zara flats, but I can't decide. Which ones should I get??

3. The Asbury Park Zombie Walk is tomorrow, which is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest zombie walk. The hubs and I are thinking about going and getting zombie-fied like this (they have makeup artists there):

However, I will not be putting any fake blood on my clothes. (Zombie walk or not, I'm not sacrificing anything in my wardrobe!)

  16. Go to a thrift store for Zombie clothes!! I bought an old yellow prom dress from the 80's and my husband got an old suit. It was wonderful, we took razors to them, ran them over with vehicles, and drizzled ourselves with edible blood (corn syrup and Kool-Aid). It was the best time ever.

  23. i love the bacon and eggs. i saw a cute DIY i-phone dog costume (you can probably google it). #3 for the shoes are my faves. and have fun at the zombie walk...i wouldn't sacrifice clothing, either...but go crazy with the face makeup!

  27. OMG...I love the bacon and eggs costumes. I have a shark costume for my dog. I tried to make the cats be an angel and a devil one year....but they just ate pieces of the costumes.

  60. I hope you went with number one on the flats! My husband and I just sold most of our halloween stuff this year at our yard sale..15 bins of good stuff. We love Halloween and have been zombies many times, it is so fun! dawn suitcase vignettes xo
