What to Wear? Link Up: Date Night

Every Friday night, the hubby and I go out on a date. For a while we were just going to our favorite local taco joint. While delicious, I could show up in my bikini and no one would care (seriously, it's right near the beach). Lately we decided we should break out of our taco routine and go out on a real date on Fridays instead. I think it's so much more fun to get dressed up. Even though we're married, I tell the hubs he'll always be my boyfriend and I get to date him for life now.

For date night, whether you're on your 1st date or your 1000th date, wear heels. It can transform any outfit from casual to glam instantly.

And if you're wondering, the hubby wears the same thing whether we're going to the taco joint or a fancier restaurant!

  20. I seriously love this look. I have always been apprehensive of heels paired with shorts but I think that's only because I never thought of a way to outfit it properly. The blazer and necklace really help to dress up this look and I adore this on you! Perfect for a date night. I think I should try this whole heels with shorts thing before it's too late! :)

I would do bear feet everywhere if I wasn't worried about diseases and sharp objects. I despise things on my feet, and if they are uncomfortable I despise it more... I need to get over this.

My Father in Law does the same thing to his wife, yet I got mad in the beginning of my marriage when my husband slipped up and forgot to call me his wife :D After 2 years of marriage though, I guess I don't care what he calls me now ;) I love your date night look, and I am super jealous you live right on the beach, I'd do tacos every night if I were you :D
