When my hubby saw my outfit he said, "that looks like something that girl from Glee would wear." He meant Rachel Berry (Lea Michele's character).

I'm taking that as a compliment! I love Rachel's preppy yet quirky style. I think my hubby is right...the polka dots and peter pan collar is right up Rachel's alley, don't ya think?

Which tv character's style do you admire?

  9. I love that top!! What a cute outfit. I wish I could have the wardrobe of all the ladies on Downton Abbey, but that probably wouldn't work so well for everyday haha.

  14. Peter pan collars definitely make me think Rachel Berry, but that is not a bad association at all! I love this look on you.

If we're talking Glee style I'm more of a fan of Quinn's ultra feminine pieces. Sundresses and cardigans all the time? Yes please! I also love Ginnifer Goodwin's character from Once Upon a time (again with the cardigans).

    1. Quinn does have quite a cute wardrobe too! I don't think I've seen Once Upon a Time.

  17. I love the top! It's retro and fun, but yes, kind of like Rachel Berry. That is ok though, she's got fun style! I like her style and I also like Zooey Deschanel on the New Girl and also the blonde on 2 Broke Girls.

  50. This is such a cute look--that blouse is adorable! You know, the only show I watch religiously is Criminal Minds, and the wardrobes on that show are pretty boring. The eye candy though, that's another story!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Your hubby is right--this is totally a very Rachel Berry look, haha :) Loving this adorable polka dot top with the black Peter Pan collar, it's too cute. Incidentally, I'm also petite (4'10" without shoes) so I'm always wandering over the kid's section. I love that I score pants at Zara and H&M for considerably less. And as for TV characters, I'm constantly inspired by Pretty Little Liars--the fashion there is so on point, I love it!
