EBEW: Back to School

Tank-Express, Dress worn as Skirt-F21, Necklace-Seek First {giveaway win}, Wedges-Nordstrom

Today I'm linking up with Everybody, Everywear for their Back to School theme. The last time I was in school was four years ago for my master's program and I'm pretty sure I won't be back again.  (6 years for a doctorate? No thanks!).

The best part of school was coming in on the first day and wearing my new clothes. Luckily with this blog, every day is like the first day of school since I get to show off my duds to you. Thank goodness blogging doesn't come with the yucky studying, research, and writing of 10 page papers that grad school did.

  17. You look so cute! I love the floral print and the necklace..oh and the shoes!

..ok so I might be a complete idiot, but how do you wear a dress as a skirt? Do you just tuck in the top and if so isn't that uncomfortable?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thanks Britt! The dress as a skirt thing only works for certain dresses depending on the cut and fabric or else it won't stay up. For this one I tucked the top part into the "skirt" and it didn't bother me. Other dresses I've just worn a shirt over it so it looked like a skirt.

  23. when i was in college, starting my sophomore year, back to school was actually the 20 something of june and then the 3rd or 4th of the year - september was when i started a quarter of work (we did 4 quarters alternating with work - paid internship- and school) so back to school hasnt felt like back to school in many years to me either. i love this skirt - it's quite cute on you - and that necklace is so fun!

  29. Yeah, after 4 years of college and 3 years of law school...I am done with school. I love getting to share my outfits on the blog. I used to feel like it was pointless to get dressed up if no one was going to see me. Now I have a reason to put on pants in the morning.

I've never rented from rent the runway, but would love to try it...my #1 wishful rental? An herve' leger bandage dress....only worry is that once it arrives I don't think I'd send it back.
