The Tiny Heart: New Hope

8.20.2012

New Hope

Yesterday the hubby and I went to New Hope, PA (and checked it off my list of Summer to Do's!). We started the day by having lunch at The Landing, a restaurant right along the Delaware River.

The view was amazing...

Top-Old Navy, Shorts-Target Kids, Sandals-AE, Necklace-c/o Castellammare Designs

Then we went shopping! The town of New Hope is filled with cute boutiques. Normally I need to bribe the hubs with Cinnabun to go shopping with me, but he doesn't seem to mind in New Hope (It must be all the motorcycles he gets to look at that litter the streets).

He bought me these vintage cowboy boots from a vintage store called Love Saves the Day:

They were originally $60 and all the boots were 50% off so they were only $30! The salesgirls said they were so jealous since none of them could squeeze into the boots. Finally, having small feet has paid off! Score!

PS Have you entered my August Group Giveaway? 6 amazing prizes, 6 winners!

  3. Cute score! Love those boots and the pretty color! Bet you're dreaming of all sorts of outfits to put together with those beauties! I know how you felt! Had the same feeling when my little feet slid into a pair of Ferragamos at a store! The face on the saleslady was priceless (she apparently was lusting after them but couldn't squeeze her size 9 feet into the 5 1/2's) Ha!
Looks like you had a lovely time! Nothing like a great view, some shopping and time with the Hubby to refuel for the week! Hope yours is a great one!
