What to Wear? Link Up: Backyard Barbecue



 Dress-AE (worn here, cute option), Clutch-Vintage (similar), Sandals-AE (similar), Sunnies-Ray Ban

Can't you just smell the hot dogs and burgers grilling? We don't actually have a backyard, so barbecues here take place on the driveway. (I wasn't kidding when I said I live in the ghetto!).

LOVE it. thanks for hosting this awesome idea! can't wait to linkup :) next time maybe "What to wear to a wedding" or you could even get specific like an outdoor wedding, or a black tie wedding? or date night? OOOO that gives me an idea - i'd love to see some fun FORMAL outfits on the blogosphere. like "what to wear to a black tie event" - have bloggers wear their finest? what do you think? okay i've rambled way too much! LOL :)

    1. Thanks for all your ideas, Molly! I thought about doing date night, that would be fun. I've got another summer themed one lined up for the next one, but maybe we'll do date night after that :) I don't know if I actually own anything to wear to a black tie event so I'll have to think about that one haha.

  17. That little red clutch is the perfect accessory to this outfit, it really pops against the gray plaid dress! (And those are such cute sandels!)
    I love this idea of the links ups, I'll have to pay better attention and jump in on the next one. You made me laugh when you talked about the BBQ in the driveway, were almost the same way! (Out backyard is TINY, so everyone just fires up their bbqs in the shared parking lot. One person starts and then they smell gets to all of us and before you know it, we're all out there!)
