The Tiny Heart: Navy Stripes + Hot Pink

1.27.2012

Navy Stripes + Hot Pink

Cardi & Striped Tee-Express (similar cardi, similar tee), Chambray Shirt-Target (similar), Jeans-A&F (similar), Wellies-Hunter (here, wearing kids version here)

Rainy days make me wish I could pull a Ferris Bueller and call out "sick" from work,

snuggle on the couch with my puppies,

watch all the Twilight movies from start to finish. (You know, because it's always raining in Forks),

and eat loads of Mac N Cheese (only the kind out of the box with the powdered fake cheese will do).

What does Oliver like to do on rainy days? He likes to blog, of course:

Make sure to stop back here on Monday for my first giveaway!

  5. Since we don't live that far apart, you can guess that it's raining here too. I wore my pink wellies today, but there will be no picture. Today is a boss-free day at work, so it's a SUPER casual day no makeup kinda day! Love the pink and stripes!

    1. I cheated, pics were taken when it was raining yesterday but it's very fitting since it's pouring now. I'm jealous of your pink wellies. I had a pair of hot pink ones and they got a hole in the bottom, sad!

    1. Yup Oliver is quite the little comedian :) I assume wellies would be essential in England with all the rain you get!

  7. Yay! We're both wearing stripes today Sharon! Great minds think alike :-)
And I love that Oliver is blogging...ha! My dogs just sit there and stare at me until I can't take it anymore and grab the leashes for a walk. Drives me insane (although they have trained me well :-) )

Have a great weekend friend and I'm excited for your 1st giveaway!

    1. Aaand we're also wearing chambray shirts, haha. My dogs also have me trained well. Oliver will drag his water dish around the kitchen until I refill it (it's metal so I can hear the clanking from the other room!).

Have a good weekend too Marion!

    1. Thanks for the sweet comment, Jasmine! My Hunter boots are the kids version which is why they're shorter than the womens original. I think us petites can rock tall boots though!

  13. I love the stripes!! Haha, snuggling on the couch is all I want to do on a rainy day too. We've been having quite a few of those lately as well, though today it brightened up - thank goodness! There's only so much dreary rain I can take. I hope you have a fantastic weekend :)

    1. Oliver is such a clown...he gets into EVERYTHING, not just the computer. I have to watch him like a hawk. Usually if I turn my back for 2 minutes he's doing something naughty. Oh the joys of having a puppy. :)
